Join STEPonline.com's Editorial Board
- STEPonline.com is your online community. To keep it that way we want as
many of you as possible to bring your ideas to the site. That means posting
comments to the Discussion Boards, joining the conversation in the Chat
Rooms, asking questions of Arugula Jones
, submitting your art and writing to The Show Room, and....
becoming a member of STEPonline.com's (volunteer) Editorial Board!
If you:
- enjoy writing (You actually think it's fun.)
- have some talent (You're doing very well in English.)
- want to become an even better writer (You'll work with
professional editors, the way professional writers do.)
- think it'd be cool to be published on the Internet (Having an ego
isn't a bad thing.)
And if you also:
- realize that drugs are a major negative influence on today's youth and
want to help solve the problem. (Way to go!)
Then we want YOU on STEPonline.com's Editorial Board.
Our journalists interview young people around the world to find out how
they've dealt with drugs, alcohol and tobacco. Why talk to teens instead of
adult experts? Because we know that the most powerful drug abuse prevention
message comes from teens who have "Been there, done that, got the T shirt,
and figured out a way to get rid of it."
Sounds like an interesting opportunity? Then write a short essay (200 words
max.) describing why you'd be a great journalist for STEPonline.com and email
it to:
editorialboard@steponline.com
We look forward to hearing from you!
In friendship,
Annie Fox
