May 30, 2001: "Saying good-bye and moving ahead."
Kathmandu
The trip is winding down. I've been packing and cleaning up. Everyone
will go different ways on Friday. It's a little sad. Our group has been
together for almost 10 weeks. We've been through a lot together. Our goal
has been accomplished. Now it's time to move ahead. The next few weeks
will be a time of reflection--evaluating everything that has
happened--positive and negative--and setting new goals.
