An Emmy award-winning TV documentary producer, Jim Bruton brings to this expedition his impressive 20 years of experience in environmental applications of wireless video, computer and satellite technologies. He has outstanding leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to do an excellent job even in the harshest and most remote conditions. As Telekom Malaysia's technical team leader for the Everest '97 expedition, Jim designed a wireless video system to transmit live video to the summit of Everest to Base Camp. That's why Jim will be such a valuable member of STEPonline's "Everyone has an Everest" Expedition 2001. Without him as the Communication Satellite Consultant, it would be impossible for us to login in and follow Ben Webster's and Nancy Feagin's progress up the mountain.
